Noord-Holland is a province in the northwest of the Netherlands. On November 1, 2019, the province had 2,877,909 inhabitants. Noord-Holland has an area of 4,092 km², of which 2,662 km² is land, making the province have a population density of 1,082 inhabitants per km². The provincial capital is Haarlem and the largest city is Amsterdam. The largest airport in the Netherlands and the second-largest airport in Europe, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, is located in Noord-Holland.
